Showing Cows is a Family Tradition at the Chenango County Fair

You can play games on the midway, scream on the rides, eat a funnel cake, and of course take in all of the exhibits and see lots of animals Today's main event the tractor pull.
The fair continues through Sunday, when it wraps up with the demolition derby.
And after 165 years you are sure to see some familiar faces.
Terry Ives is a member of a family that has been showing cows at the fair for generations.
"I've had registered cows since 1918, my great grandfather, and the fair has always been an important part of our summer activity because you come, you see friends, you show against them, you know everybody here," he said.
The Ives family has collected so many ribbons through out the years Terry says that his wife has started to make a quilt out of them.
