Rex Ryan atop Jets' food chain
8/8/2012 (Updated 11:06:54 PM)CORTLAND -- It's been a wild 48 hours up in Cortland at Jets Training Camp, but don't worry, there were no punches thrown Wednesday.
After Tuesdays blowup, the Jets saw a side of Rex Ryan that they haven't in a while ... the disciplinarian.
After the tongue lashing, and the wind-sprints, quarterback Mark Sanchez says the head coach reaffirmed to the players he's atop of the Jets' food chain.
"It wasn't fun running gasers, but it proved a point. It was just a reminder that that he's in control of this team. When he says something, he means it, and there's going to be repercussions for what he's saying - and if you don't like it then get out."
In other J-E-T-S news, wide receiver Santonio Holmes was ruled out for Fridays preseason opener in Cincinnati. Rex Ryan told reporters Tim Tebow in his Jets debut will play roughly two quarters.
