Davis College Church Acquisition

Davis College announced Tuesday that it is purchasing the Blessed Sacrament Church as a way to improve their program.

The space will be used for college chapels, additional classroom space, and the opening of the practical institute, which will offer certificate classes in ministry leadership open to the public.

"It's exciting to think that not only are we going to have a real chapel finally for Davis College after so many years, and be able to host many activities here," said Jeff Coghlan, a Davis College trustee.

Rennovation of the church is starting immediately.

School is back in session on August 23rd, and officials say they hope to have the chapel ready by early next year.
