(Source: Kate Thornton) Although the flood was nearly a year ago, some folks hit badly are still struggling with the recovery process.
One group making that process easier is Project Renew, a free, anonymous, informal support group helping people going through this crisis.
Counselors say it's normal to still feel unsettled, even a year later.
"With the anniversary coming up, this is a huge downer," said Tat Baine of Project Renew. "This is a huge process at which people are going to feel all kinds of emotions, and the most positive thing I can say is that this is normal. This is normal for a year out and you will begin to move forward."
