MMA Fighter Takes a Swing at the Big Time

You have probably heard of Jon "Bones" Jones the UFC start.

Now the Southern Tier has another pro MMA fighter.

Paul "The Phoenix" Holt made his professional debut in Virginia on Saturday, beating opponent Josh Brown in the first round.

Holt says, "I have a long history of martial arts, but I've been in real life situations too. So the fact that I have both that kind of experience, I think that sets me aside from most fighters that fight in this sport."

Holt is working on setting up another fight in the next few weeks.
