CORTLAND, NY -- The third day of practice brought full pads for the Jets in training camp at SUNY Cortland. For the first time of camp players were hitting, which brought up the intensity.
One shining player on the defensive side was linebacker Aaron Maybin who flew around the field making plays and pumping up his teammates.
A notable absence during team drills was cornerback Darrelle Revis, who sat out due to tightness in his hamstring. Revis told reporters after practice that there's nothing to worry about and he sat out just as a precaution. Revis expects to be back in action Monday when the team continues camp.
Practice Monday is scheduled from 8-11 in the morning before the team has an off day Tuesday.
