Four Women Arrested for Alleged Shoplifting at Oakdale Mall

Four out of town women arrested for shoplifting at the Oakdale Mall.

Police say they lifted several thousand dollars worth of clothing from the Gap store and the Children's Place.

Three of them are from Syracuse, another is from Sayre.

All are charged with Grand Larceny.

A police officer suffered a sprained hand in apprehending one of the suspects, resulting in a charge of resisting arrest.

Authorities say the women acted as a group in stealing the merchandise.
