Join Fox 40 at Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Binghamton

You gotta get up really early to have a shot at beating breast cancer,
and that is just what hundreds of women and men did this morning in Binghamton.

It was the kickoff breakfast for making strides against breast cancer, a major fundraiser for the American Cancer Society.

Attendees got a chance to meet, eat, and hear about ways to raise money and build their teams.

"This event is our 17th annual making strides against breast cancer in Binghamton, it will be held September 30th in Rec Park," said Joan Ticknor of the American Cancer Society.

"It is a good way to show support to help people who are going through breast cancer and to show support for the American Cancer Society who helped me out when I was going through it," said Breast Cancer Survivor Patty Lewis.
