A Binghamton man has been placed under arrest, accused of visiting the County Jail with a hypodermic needle hidden in his mouth.
Investigators say that on Tuesday, Matthew Lamberg was trying to visit an inmate when an officer noticed something suspicious in his mouth.
Upon further inspection, it became apparent to the investigators that not only did he have a needle which had been altered to be easily concealed, but he also had a lighter in his possession.
The 30-year-old has since been charged with two felony counts of promoting prison contraband.
