Residents Flock To Tioga Downs For Motorcycle Show

Area motorcyclists gathered at Tioga Downs to see who has the best bike in town.
Hundreds of people competed at the first annual Tioga Downs Casino Motorcycle Show. The top 30 bikes were given awards including Best in Show and Best in Paint. People came to the event to see all the different kinds of bikes, and the bikers enjoyed the thrills of riding.
"Wind in your hair, open road. It's nice" said Phillip Minckler.
"There's a lot of riders around here. We had riders come from the Southern Tier of New York, parts of Pennsylvania, they came from all over. It's a very popular activity, people enjoyed coming out to see the bikes" said Jeff Townsend, Senior of Operations at Tioga Downs.
Money raised from the event will be donated to the Binghamton Harley Owners Group's annual Christmas for Kids event. The organization buys gifts and delivers them to local charities.
