BINGHAMTON -- So far, the LG&T Tennis Challenger has been unpredictable. The top five seeds have been eliminated making it anybody's tournament to win.
Sixth seeded Jamie Baker took on Michael Yani Friday afternoon. Yani took the first set 6-0 but Baker turned it around in the second set to tie at 3-all. But Yani closes the door and takes the match 6-0, 6-4 to advance to tomorrows semi-finals.
Rhyne Williams and David King-Turner met on Court One for another quarter-final match-up. Despite a late rally in the second set where Williams fights off three match points, King-Turner clinches the match 6-4, 7-6. He will face Michael Yani in tomorrow's semi-final
In the other quarter-finals Greg Oullette defeated qualifier Andrew Carter 6-4, 6-2 and Fritz Wolmarans defeated Bradley Klahn 7-6(4), 6-3.
Oullette and Wolmarans will face off in the other semi-final.
