Housing Market Improving

If you are hoping to sell a home, there are signs that the market is turning around.
 
A recent Siena poll shows that the market appraisal is the best it has been in the last ten quarters. 

We spoke with Tom Sbarra from Century 21, and he says that there are a few reasons that the market has started to shift.

Pent up demand and low interest rates.

"Right now, at this minute, you can get a 30 year FHA mortgage for three and a quarter percent. It's never been that low--ever-- and it makes that many more houses that much more affordable," said Sbarra.
 
Two thirds of New York State residents who were polled believe the market has improved or stabilized.
