Impact Project to Make an Even Bigger Impact with New Headquarters in Greene

For the past seven years the Impact Project has been helping people rebuild their homes, and today they finally got their own.

The Impact group helps the elderly and low income families redesign and renovate their homes, but until now they have been working out of a garage.

Wednesday at a ribbon-cutting ceremony they finally opened their new headquarters in Greene, NY, a facility built completely by volunteers and  a new home that will help them reach even more people in need.

James Willard, Director of the Impact Project said, "I pinched myself, I never even thought we'd be here to this day. Honestly, all my hope was to maybe help one family in a year and here we are. We just finished, as you may or may not know, three weeks ago we went down on Conklin Avenue and we finished helping our 49th family."

The Impact Project is gearing up to finish their 50th project next weekend.
