Family Seeks Missing Teen

12-year old Elizabeth Burts, also known as Lizzie, has been missing since Sunday --when, at 9:30 in the morning, she left her house  on Travis Avenue in Binghamton's north side-- walked down the street-- headed to services and a youth program less than a mile away at the Community Bible Church, at the corner of Chenango and Baird avenue.
Her family hasn't seen her since:

The Binghamton police say they have received the report from the family, but haven't actively pursued the matter yet-- but are asking anyone with information to call them.

The family says Lizzie is bi-polar, but  is a happy girl, and they don't believe she ran away, or is staying with friends.

Although they admit they fear the worst, at times, they haven't given up hope.
The outcome, they say could depend on police friends, neighbors, and all those who love Lizzie, to help her return safely to her family.
