Excavation Work Continues Along Prospect Mountain

They are calling it excavation rather than blasting, but that's what was going on Monday, and will continue Tuesday and Wednesday along Prospect Mountain in Binghamton.

The work is being done from 10:30am through noon each day.

Motorists can expect traffic delays in that area: along Interstates 81, 88 and Route 17.

And if you don't slowdown, you might get a fine, which would be doubled, because you are in a work zone.
