Senior Assaulted and Robbed at his Home

Police are asking for your help to catch a robber who broke into a senior citizen's home and assaulted him.

Investigators say last Tuesday around 6:15 pm he knocked on the door of a house on the south side of Binghamton.

When the 88-year-old homeowner answered the door the assailant asked to use the phone.

He forced his way inside, attacked the homeowner, and stole property from him.

The robber is believed to be 25-35 years old with glasses and a pot belly.
