Motorcyclists In Pennsylvania Ride to Keep Memory Of Fallen Soldiers Alive

"We're here to honor six local soldiers killed from our armory in New Milford, Pennsylvania in 2005. They were deployed to Iraq. They sent sixty men and six of them were killed. This is a yearly event. We raise money for a memorial fund. This year we were able to give out two scholarships in two of the soldiers names."said Bill Evans, President of the American Legions Riders 357.

"It's real important to me because one of them soldiers was my son. As long as I'm alive and able to do anything this ride right here will be, it will be happy. I don't want to ever see these guys forgotten." said Evans.

"This was my brothers bike. Its a 2001 Speedster which is the same time as 9/11 and he was a fallen fireman. I always wanted to do something in memory of 9/11 so me and my other brother Ron Evans, we just decided to do something in tribute to him and 9/11 so we did the twin towers and you talk to people when you ask oh its just another day, well that wasn't just another day for alot of people" said Rider Doug Evans.

"The six guys we lost, I was over there with them and I've been hitting on every ride that we've had in the last five years doing this. It's just great to be able to get out, do something in remembrance of the guys and seeing all the support we get from all the other people out here helps us."said Roger Stone.

"Some of the bikes have emblems on there that mean something. My bike has a couple superman emblems. that was something my son, everything he had had a superman on it so its a way to keep the memory of them" said Bill Evans

"I designed these shirts and it just everything fell in place as brothers you know. So you're brothers forever wherever you go you ride in heaven or hell side by side. That stands alone." said Doug Evans .
