Endicott Concert Series Gets Golf Cart for Easier Senior Access

(Source: Fox 40 Staff) Thursday night was a beautiful night for a concert in the park as the neighborhood known as Little Italy in Endicott began its summer concert series.
All summer long local musicians will play in the new Little Italy stage at George W. Johnson Park on the village's North Side.
The concert series has grown over the last few years. Concert organizers are proud to say the addition of a new golf cart will make it easier for seniors to enjoy the event.
"It's very good because some of our older members have to get used to the idea they can now ride down because it's pretty hilly. So, now we have transportation for them so it will make it easier for them to be here. Which makes me happy," said Concert Series organizer Palma Longo.
Endicott Mayor John Bertoni said the lack of transportation was the biggest complaint in previous years. So, the village applied for a grant to purchase the golf cart.
