Lots of 4th Fun at Highland Park

There was  plenty to see and do at Highland Park for folks in Union-Endwell and far beyond.

Kids were happy with the face painting-- the games--and the arts and crafts.
And there was plenty of entertainment, food,  and
activities for moms and dads to get involved with too.

Folks seemed to appreciate the fact that the holiday celebrates both the nation, and the people who are part of it.


One of the celebrants, Mary Judge said: "It's nice to see everyone in one place. Everyone kind of scatters a lot on holidays, and you don't see everyone, but, it's nice to see everyone come together and spend the day together, celebrating our country:"
 
Later in the evening,  the activities scheduled at Highland Park included Irish dancers, a 'Splash' band, a 25-hundred dollar raffle...and of course, fireworks.
