"Bones" Sentencing Delayed

UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon "Bones" Jones has three weeks to complete a drug and alcohol program.

The Endicott native showed up to appear in court Tuesday, but since he only completed half of the required two-day program his sentencing was delayed for the second time.

The new date is July 31st.

Jones pleaded guilty to DWI last May, after his 2012 Bentley smashed into a utility pole on Binghamton's west side.

Police reported that two passengers suffered minor injuries.
 
Jones reached a plea deal with the D.A.'s office.

He's expected to receive a fifteen hundred dollar fine, and a one year conditional discharge.
