Closing Arguments at Wlasiuk Trial

In closing arguments Thursday, Defense Attorney Mark Loughran went first, and continued to question the credibility of witnesses called by the prosecution.

Saying..."witnesses started to add things that didn't happen..."

And that they "twisted and turned testimony."

Loughran even told the the jury that the witnesses were all part of "the team"...and looking to "move the ball down the field." against Peter Wlasiuk.

Next District Attorney Joe Mcbride countered by once again showing pictures of Patty Wlasiuk after she died, displaying her bruised face and impressions on her neck from her necklace.

--Evidence that the prosecution says proves Patty was smothered to death.

The D.A. finished by explaining to the jury that "inconsistent statements do not disprove the mountain of evidence against this defendant."

Evidence the jury will use to decide Peter Wlasiuk's fate now for a third time.

--Now while both the defense and prosecution concluded their closing arguments Thursday.

The judge has not yet given the case to the jury. That comes Friday morning, at which point deliberations will begin.
