Free Fishing Weekend in New York State

another way to enjoy the outdoors - fishing... especially this weekend when fishing is free in new york!
 
this weekend is new york states annual free fishing weekend, which is always the last full weekend of june. As a part of the weekend people will not need to have a freshwater fishing license.

The weekend is designed to promote fishing and to get people to try it out and getinterested in the sport.
