Today kicked off Lost Pawz's Animal Shelter raffle fundraiser. The shelter was devastated by last September's flood and continues it's efforts to bounce back.
With help from b-a-e systems the shelter is selling raffle tickets to win a grand prize package worth more than 700 dollars. A pair of employees from BAE is organizing the raffle. The goal is to raise 2-thousand dollars for new flooring in the rescue shelter.
"The animals need the help desperately. So, please come out and support us and support the animals," said Donelle Hartman, owner of Lost Pawz.
"Anybody that's a contractor, anybody that's handy, please come out and help us. Maybe donate material, donate your time, anything you can give would be wonderful right now," said Bridgett Schroder, an employee at BAE Systems.
The raffle tickets will be sold in front of Mark's Coffee House on Front Street in Endicott each morning next week. The grand prize winner will be drawn next Friday.
