Upstate Unemployment Rate Up

There is not so great news from the May unemployment numbers.

While nationally unemployment is down, here in Upstate New York it's up.

Last May the unemployment rate for the Binghamton area was 7.8%.

This May it was 8.5%. The numbers are similar for the state as a whole.
