Walton Police tells us they've arrested two individuals, after investigating reports that a student had threatened to bring a
gun to Walton Central School after the Memorial Day Holiday.
Police discovered that a handgun had been stolen from a home in the Town of Tompkins earlier this month.
There was an intense search of the school, and the gun was recovered, Friday, at the bottom of a reservoir just outside the Village of Walton.
Under arrest are 52 year old Jody Campbell of Walton, and 30 year old Michael McCall, also of Walton.
