Lucky Kids Paint Bowls With B-Mets Players - 7/27/2010
A local pottery painting business called Clayground donated ice cream bowls for the group to paint.
The B-Mets teamed up with the magic paintbrush project to give back to their community.
The organizer says it's important to raise funds and awareness for those in the area who have special needs.
"One of the things that we love is when the players engage with the community in such a nice way to benefit the community. It's important on many levels, not only for the people that we serve, but the players, but the community and it's outreach," said Jennifer O'Brien, Program Director of Magic Paintbrush.
The group plans to auction off the bowls painted by the B-Mets for charity.
The auction will be on August 14th at NYSEG Stadium.
