Broome County Building Air and Surface Test Results: No Health Concerns - 3/8/2010

Results from an air and surface test at the County Office Building came in on Monday, and there is no immediate health concern.

Some PCB test results will require more investigating, but, overall, the results were below harmful levels.

The County and State Health Departments agreed that the county can continue with their normal operations.

 Gulf oil platform explodes, burning off La. coast
GRAND ISLE, La. – An offshore petroleum platform exploded and was burning Thursday in the Gulf of Mexico about 80 miles off the Louisiana coast, west of the site where BP's undersea well spilled after a rig explosion.
