Vestal Teachers Association to Hold Craft Fair - 11/30/2009

Vestal Teachers Association Craft Fair Scheduled for This Sunday
Join the Vestal Teachers Association at their annual craft fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, at Vestal High School, 205 Woodlawn Drive. Proceeds from the craft fair benefit the Vestal Dollars for Scholars.
Over 60 vendors will be there, selling a variety of items including handmade candles, jewelry, wooden ornaments, homemade fudge, quilts and much more. The Vestal High School Orchestra will be running a concession stand, so stop by, do some shopping, get a bite to eat, and support our Vestal community.

 Gulf oil platform explodes, burning off La. coast
GRAND ISLE, La. – An offshore petroleum platform exploded and was burning Thursday in the Gulf of Mexico about 80 miles off the Louisiana coast, west of the site where BP's undersea well spilled after a rig explosion. The Coast Guard says no one was killed in the blast, which was reported by a commercial helicopter flying over the area Thursday morning.
