Budget-Fixing Measures Cut Tobacco-Free programs - 11/29/2009
One group in particular isn't happy about decisions Governor Paterson is making to help balance the budget.Ten million dollars in funding are expected to be taken from an anti-tobacco program.
The independent Center For a Tobacco Free New York says the latest proposed cut would reduce funding for programs that provide free nicotine patches and help Medicaid patients quit smoking.
