Marathon advances to Class C Final - 11/20/2009

In Class C, Marathon and West Rochester have combined to win the last eight titles, and the two schools met up in the semis tonight.

Early first half, and the Bombers are threatening, but Cigi Edwards comes up with a huge save, 0-0.

Marathon marches right back, McKenna light pounds one in, and the Olympians lead by one.

Five minutes later West Rochester puts the equalizer on the board, but in the end, Marathon  gets the edge to win 2-1.

The Olympians earn the right to play Port Jefferson in the finals tomorrow at 2.
