It may not be the best time to invest in a new home, but Broome County is looking to help.
Forty properties from across the county will be up for auction on November 14. Manasse auction will host the sale and their staff says it's an opportunity to possibly get a steal during the tough economic times.
"A lot of people right now look to go to an auction hoping to get a deal compared to the normal market and a lot of people have hopes that because times are tough right now, maybe the prices will be a little more reasonable," said auctioneer Matt Manasse.
If you're interested in checking out the auction, it will be held November 14 at the forum theater. Registration beginning at 8 a.m.
