Yankees sweep Red Sox; Clinch AL East - 9/27/2009

In the Bronx it's time to celebrate. Not only does a Mark Teixeira homerun sweep the sox, but it means that the Bombers have won 100 games, the AL East, and a spot in the playoffs.

This is the 11th time the Yankees have won the division crown since 1995; the Yankees are the first AL team to lock up a playoff spot.
