Field finalized for DSGO

Twenty-two golfers took to the Links at Hiawatha on Monday to play for the final five spots in the field for this weekend's Dick's Sporting Goods Open.  Dick Mast led the way with a 68 (-4), Steve Jones shot a 71 (-1), and Skip Taylor 72 (E) all qualified.  Patrick Horgan, Peter Jordan, Blaine McAllister, and Craig Thomas all tied with a 73 forcing a playoff.  However, McAllister and Thomas had already left the course, leaving Horgan and Jordan to claim the final two spots.  Joe Daley withdrew from the qualifier as, halfway through his round, he was informed that he had made the field as an alternate.

Dick's Sporting Goods Open Tournament play begins Friday August 15 at En-Joie Golf Course in Endicott.
