Dick's Open earns 2nd straight President's Award

While no finish to a gold tournament can quite compare with that of the 2012 Dick's Sporting Goods Open -- Willie Wood's 55-foot putt to force a playoff and then winning it all on the first playoff hole, 2013's tournament had plenty to be proud of.

The tournament saw Bart Bryant win his first Champion's Tour event, after coming back from injury.  It also welcomed Tim McGraw to the 18th green in what is quite possibly the largest concert ever held in Broome County.

Thursday, the Champions Tour awarded the Dick's Sporting Goods Open with the President's Award for best overall event on tour.  The DSGO brings home it's second straight President's Award, earning it in 2012 as well.
