The Dick's Sporting Goods Open is over but the excitement will last for a while.
Sunday was quite an exciting end to the annual tournament. Coming into the last round, John Huston, the defending champion was hoping for his second straight win at En-Joie. Huston opened strong but dwindled away on the 10th hole when he knocked one in the water. Huston finished six over on the day.
Brad Faxon took over the lead and held it all the way until the 17th hole. Faxon missed a birdie putt on the 18th hole which lead to a play-off between Michael Allen and Willie Wood.
On the play-off, Allen hit the water while Wood hit a straight drive. Wood then putted for the win.
