Deadly Tornado in Madison County

We now know more about the storm that passed through our area Tuesday.
The National Weather Service says it was an E-F-2 tornado with estimated wind speeds between 125 and 135-miles per hour.
 
The tornado touched down in the town of Smithfield in Madison County on Tuesday. That twister killed four people including a mother and four-month old daughter.  A home was lifted from the ground and carried 150-yards before it crashed into another house. 

A total of five buildings were destroyed in Madison County. The tornado is the second-deadliest in New York State history.
