Structure Fire Destroys Business in Campville

What is being described as a massive structure fire destroyed a business in Campville early this morning.

Eighteen fire departments responded to Wagner Lumber at 4060 Gaskill Road at around 3:30 am. The Campville fire department says the fire started in the main saw house. No one was in the building at the time. Firefighters had the blaze under control by noon-- almost 9 hours later.

"The Tioga County fire investigation team is being assisted by the State Office of Fire Prevention and Control. They'll look at it and determine what happened," John Scott, Tioga County Fire Coordinator said.

The business made up of three buildings is a total loss-- firefighters estimated the incident caused 4 million dollars worth of damage. The cause is still under investigation.
