Friendly Competition: Police Officers vs. Firefighters

Local law enforcement and emergency personnel laced up their skates today to benefit a good cause.

The Binghamton Police took on the Binghamton Fire Department in the 29th annual Heart Cup to benefit the American Heart Association.
The charity game draws about 600 people every year. Organizers say the police and firefighters practice year round for the event.

"It's a lot of fun. We've got a lot of great guys out there that are really trying to promote healthy living and really keeping our community safe and doing that year round," said Gina Chapman, Director of the Southern Tier American Heart Association.

Ultimately the ----- came out on top winning the game SCORE. But the real winners today are healthy hearts across the Southern Tier.
