High School and College Students Perform Play in "SPARE" Time

A community theatre that tailors to college schedules
put on their second performance of an off-broadway play Saturday night.  SPARE Productions presented "Songs for a New World."

The musical follows a group of people making their way to the new world. They each face their own obstacles along the way. Spare's version of the play does differ from the original: instead of four leads, the performance features thirteen performers. They range from high schoolers to soon-to-be college graduates.

SPARES's next production is in July. They will perform the broadway musical, "The Drowsy Chaperon." If you'd like to learn more about SPARE you can visit them on Facebook.
