Cooperstown Menacing Suspect Arrested In Virginia

The man police say was responsible for instigating a shots-fired incident in Cooperstown Monday is now under arrest.

62-year-old Barry Renert was arrested last night at a Richmond, Virginia bus station. Police say yesterday morning around 9 o'clock Renert went into the 7th-inning Stretch memorabilia store, where he was a former employee, and confronted the owner of the store and displayed a gun.

Police say the owner then produced his own gun and shot at Renert. Renert then fled. No one was injured in the incident.
