Endicott Rotary Gives 75 Families Meals for the Holiday

Seventy-five Town of Union families in need this Christmas will have all of the fixings for their holiday feasts thanks to Endicott Rotary.

Rotarians were busy assembling boxes of food for each of the families, filled with potatoes, vegetables, pie, and of course a turkey.

Twenty-five of the families are from the Boys and Girls Club of Western Broome, and 50 families are from the Union-Endicott School District.

This is the Endicott Rotary's 13th year delivering food to families in need.

"Rotary stands for service to man king.  So this is what we like to do.  We like to give it back to our community and  that's exactly what we did here.  Our community is not like any other.  It does have some people in need, and we're glad we can help them," said Public Relations Coordinator for Endicott Rotary Darlene Leonard.

The club fundraises all year round to create these food boxes.  They will be delivered to the families throughout the day on Wednesday.
