Do you believe in Santa?

According to a new Siena poll, 30% of adult New Yorkers do and those believing the most are older New Yorkers,  Catholics, and Republicans.

We sent our own pollster out tonight, to see what results we would get.

Fox 40 reporter Natalie Rubino visited the Walmart in Vestal where she asked people of the Southern Tier what they think. And you might be surprised at what they had to say.

A poll just came out saying that 30% of New Yorkers believe in Santa. The most among them are Catholics and Republicans. What do you think?

"I dont know."

"I believe in Santa. I always have. So go republicans and go
democrats. I'm sorry for the democrats who don't believe I guess."

"I'm not sure how I'm going to react to that."

"I'm a republican and I believe in Santa."

Do you think you believe because you're a republican or no?
"No. I believe because I am a human."

Do you think adults should believe in Santa?

"yeah!"

Do you believe in Santa?

"heck yeah!"

"You have to believe in Santa. That's what Christmas is about... believing."

So there you have it. It looks like the children had it right all along... Santa.. he's real!
