Southern Tier Shares Thanks at Luncheon

Sharing thanks and giving thanks in Endicott on Tuesday where the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce held it's17th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon.

The keynote speaker was retired Army Sergeant Richard Yarosh who was injured in Baghdad when his vehicle ran over an IED.

Sergeant Yarosh says that he has a lot to be thankful for and that every situation has a negative and a positive.

"You know you can weigh those options and they both weigh the same exact thing. But why go with the negative the positive route is always, to me the easy route. And yes maybe that first step is harder to take but once you get to that positive route you're so much happier," said Rick Yarosh a retired Army Sergeant.

Sergeant Yarosh lives in Windsor and devotes his time to motivational speaking.
