Owego Rotary Club hosts Craft Fair for a Special Cause

Sunday's rainy weather didn't stop people from making their way to downtown Owego. The Owego Rotary Club held it's 5th annual Arts and Crafts Fair to raise money for great cause.

33 venders, selling things such as hand crafted banks, kaleidoscopes, and fine jewelry, donated all of their earnings made at the fair to the National Polio Plus campaign. Venders say it's a very rewarding experience to be apart of.

"I think it's just one of those feel good things. Everybody likes it. People say they like looking at other people's craft things and they like getting a head start on their Christmas shopping," said Wendy Deis, Event Organizer.
Antique shows are also held at the Owego Elks Lodge every first and third Sunday of the month.
