Election Day Voting for Rich David

Tuesday is Election Day and one of the headline races in the area is for Mayor of Binghamton. Republican Rich David voted Tuesday morning.

The former deputy mayor and two-time mayoral candidate said he's happy to be at the end of what he called a productive campaign.

Without major state or national races on the ballot David hopes Binghamton residents still take the time to head out to the polls.

"Turnout is certainly a factor and over the course of the last several weeks we've done everything possible whether it's knocking on doors, sending pieces of mail, making phone calls and other advertisements to encourage people to get out the vote," said David.

David reiterated that he is the candidate who represents change from the status quo. After a day of campaigning he will watch results Tuesday night at his downtown business Terra Cotta beginning at 8:00.
