Stepping up physicality without Boro

A win over rival Syracuse is always a hard fought battle.  But for the Binghamton Senators, Saturday's 4-2 victory seemed that much harder without captain Mark Borowiecki.  Boro was recalled by Ottawa after Friday night's 3-1 loss to Adirondack, and was in the lineup for the Senators against the Stars.  Unfortunately, he was responsible for a goal... against his own team, deflecting the puck past Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson.

Meanwhile, the team he left behind knew there was a gap to be filled with the absence of their, then, team leader in penalty minutes (since overtaken by Michael Sdao).  Borowiecki has been the enforcer on the ice all season long, carrying over from his tough as nails play last season, and Head Coach Luke Richardson knew his skates would be tough to fill.  But, he feels his young core of defensemen did the job this weekend.
