Students and Parents Tour New Apartment

With "Parents Week" coming to a close, Sunday was the final day to check out the brand new "Chenango Place" Apartments in Binghamton.

The historic Fair Store on Court Street was transformed into 47 student apartments with 176 bedrooms. Parents and families viewed the new rooms, and even purchased them for the upcoming semester. The overall feeling between parents and students, was a good one.

"The parent's are showing  defiant excitement and a level of comfort. Security and safety is paramount in our minds and that's transferring and they can tell that we're very serious about it. We're taking every step we can to ensure everybody's safety, security, and growth," said Kathleen LaBarre, Leasing Director.

While it was the last day of the open house, there are still rooms available, and anyone interested is invited to visit.
