Binghamton Republican Mayoral Candidate Kicks Off Meet and Greet Series

Binghamton Republican Mayoral Candidate, Rich David continued his campaign, Saturday. He invited residents of the First Ward to a Meet and Greet at the Downs Ave. Tavern.

David met with people from four to six Saturday afternoon. He told Fox 40 that many of the issues they were concerned about were crime, tax increases and quality of life in the neighborhoods.

"One of the things that I hear at every term is the residents cannot wait for a change in administration. They can not wait for this mayor to leave office and for a new vision and direction and change to occur in city hall. And that's one of the things I plan to do on day one," David said.

David said that the meeting was the first in a series of meet and greets he plans to host throughout the city.
