Broome County Veterans Services Looking For Beirut Veterans

Broome County Executive Debbie Preston and the Broome County Veterans Service Agency announced that they are looking for those who served in Beirut to contact Broome County in order to plan for an upcoming commemoration event.

This year commemorates the 30th year since the bombing of the US Embassy and later the Marine Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon.

If you served in Beirut we are asking you to please contact us, said Broome County Veterans Services Agency Director Brian Vojtisek. It is important that we have as accurate a database as possible of those in our County who have served.

If you served in Beirut please call the Broome County Veterans Services Agency at 778-2147 by October 18 to leave your contact information.
