Local Non-Profit Encourages Hands On Approach to Technology

One local organization is encouraging people to get hands on with technology and hosted an open house Saturday to show off it's services.
Triple Cities Maker Space is a non-profit organization that provides the tools and resources needed to fix and improve technology devices. It's a member only facility and does have a small fee to join but founders say the experience is one of a kind.

"We're trying to demystify technology. There's been this trend over the years of all sorts of electrical devices are just magical devices that work and when there don't, you buy a new one. And we're trying to demystify that. It's really not that complicated," Erik Leonard, Co-Founder of Triple Cities said.

Triple Cities Maker Space hosts open meetings every Tuesday at 6pm. It also plans on offering technology classes in the near future.
